Domain name issue resolved
Beginning in early May, our .com domain name got quarantined and got stuck between our Swedish provider and the German domain name registrar. We were continously told that the issue would be resolved within a day or two, but that didn´t happen. Finally, as of May 21, the domain name was back up again. We really apologize for this inconvenience.
Luckily, our learning platform was never affected by all this since it has got its own domain name - learnsweden.org.

Wonderful tour of the Mid-West
We are now back home in Sweden and would very much show our appreciation to all we´ve met during our stay in the US. Everybody has been most kind and hospitable. We sincerely thank the towns of Lindsborg, KS and Stromsburg, NE for giving us the opportunity to present our online programs. Also people from Omaha, NE and Minneapolis, MN have been wonderful in letting us spread our message.
Pictures from our tour can be seen here.
LearnSweden moves on to Kansas and Nebraska
We are travelling by car from Minneapolis on Wednesday, June 13, to Lindsborg, KS. We´re going to meet with people there and then move on northwards to Stromsburg, NE, on Friday 15, to participate in the Midsommar Festival. Long car drives, but a good opportunity to see the country. We´re looking forward to it a lot :)
LearnSweden Open House in Minneapolis June 12
Since we start our promotional tour in Minneapolis, we thought it would be appropriate to host a sort of Open House presentation of some kind, where we introduce our online courses and their benefits to learning about Sweden and the Swedish language.
We´ll stay at the Comfort Inn, Bloomington, Minneapolis. On Tuesday, June 12, between 5 and 7 pm, we´ll welcome all interested in our internet courses. Invitations are coming from us directly and from Jonathan Peters of Smålandsförbundet, Minneapolis. Of course, anybody reading this are also most welcome to show up to this casual information and presentation.

Swedish Conversation Course
The Swedish Conversation course is ready for start in September. It´s a 10 week, Instructor lead course, focused on talking Swedish. We will incorporate our assignment, chatroom, forum and other tools on our Learning Platform plus of course Skype. This course is more informal with less grammar and language points than that of the Swedish Start and Move on courses. The conversation course can easily be adapted to specific learner preknowledge. Most important is to have fun while speaking Swedish - with fellow learners and the course instructor :)
LearnSweden will travel to Swedish America on June 11
LearnSweden will participate in the Midsommar Festival in Stromsburg, NE, June 15-17. We are going to promote our Swedish Culture and Language courses on the internet, meet with people, do som Swedish word-lessons, parade, eat Smörgåsbord and have a lot of fun.

Stigge & Tobbe will bring
Sweden to Swedish America
Our trip will start in Minneapolis on June 11. We´ll stay in the Minneapolis area for a couple of days and then move on to Stromsburg, NE, via Kansas City, MO. From Kansas City we´ll go by car to Stromsburg. Along the return trip from Kansas City we´ll most probably also visit Lindsborg, KS. Finally we´ll go back to Minneapolis and fly back to Europe on June 18.
